Why Do We Exist?

Jesus said the two greatest commandments are to 'Love God with our whole heart, soul and mind' and to 'love our neighbor as ourself'. Pornography strips us of our ability to love God by hardening our heart, consuming our soul and distracting our mind. It also distorts our sexual desire so we aren't free to really love women. We can only view women as objects to be used.

Our Story

Freedom to Love recognizes internet pornography is different than "your grandfather's" pornography. Young boys encounter pornography before they know what it is and how to respond to it. Freedom to Love exists to help parents raise young men who can live free of pornography and who have the freedom to love their future bride as Christ loved the Church.

Meeting a Vital Need

Every man knows the attraction and false promises of pornography. Some men move beyond it on their own and some only after years of pain, struggle and shame. Other men are never able to break free and remain in the painful isolation and shame of the compulsion to use pornography. Freedom to Love seeks to bridge that gap by equiping fathers and mentors to guide young men on the journey to holiness and virtue. Many young men are ready to move beyond pornography and just need a guide. Freedom to Love wants to provide young men that guide and the path to freedom.

Our Founder

Jeremy Rohr has worked and volunteered in youth ministry for over 25 years. He and his wife Cindy have been leading a retreat at their parish since 2007 to share practical applications of Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body with couples preparing for marriage. They are also Certified Catholic Life Coaches. Jeremy provides one on one coaching with men to help them learn to live free of pornography. He developed the FREE OUR SONS course to equip fathers and other men to help young men to live free of pornography.

I couldn't help but think, "If only I had a mentor like Jeremy who makes this difficult subject matter easy to talk about when I was growing up", as we went through Jeremy's mentoring and wisdom on the topic of human sexuality. Instead, like many of my peers we were left to figure out our longings and often times twisted desires on our own, and this often times didn't end very well.
The playground, bus or locker room weren't the virtuous places that gave us any kind of freedom. Rather, as Jeremy helps us charitably to discover not only was it not the prudent place to learn about some of the most important things about being human, but "Freedom to Love" logically walks one through the land-mines to a place of authentic Freedom; a freedom to love as we were created to in the first place.
Now with someone who has experience, knowledge and practical insights on the topic of our sexuality, I am extremely excited to see the hearts that God allows Jeremy to touch in and through his "Freedom to Love" relationships.
